How It Works
With an existing Composition : Import your Standard MIDI File into CAMPS, manually or automatically assign Chord Definitions, and you're ready to go! When Auto Harmonizing Chord Definitions, you'll often hear hundreds of different choices as CAMPS analyzes your original Melody, Comping and Bass Lines. Once Chord Definitions are assigned, you can Auto Compose hundreds of new Lines based on Chord Definitions and auto analysis of existing Lines. CAMPS can yield very surprising results.
From Scratch : Simply wave the Magic Wand in the Chord Area to automatically generate Chord Progressions. Once these Chord Definitions are assigned, you can Auto Compose new Melody, Comping and Bass Lines by waving the Magic Wand in each of their Tracks. Pointing the Magic Wand at existing Lines or Chord Progressions instantly analyzes and recreates them with a click of your mouse. Doing this repeatedly can yield hundreds of variations.
